I am a PhD candidate in economics at the University of Southern Denmark. I received my master’s degree in economics from the New Economic School (NES), Moscow.

My research relates to applied economics, particularly economic history, economics of education, economic growth and development.

 

I am primarily focused on empirical research using historical and modern data. In my job market paper, I show the importance of human capital for industrialization in the Russian Empire.
